At the beginning of a chapter, you don't auto heal until you do a camp activity. Any camp activity like pray or gamble auto heals you, except for injuries, that you need to pay the doctor to heal. But hp damage doesn't auto heal till a camp activity.

24:11 You could have crafted the plackard by combining with gambeson (eliminates stat penalties if crafting high enough). Plackard and leather armor works too, not sure if there are penalties. With axe/shield build, go for shieldmaster ring so you can bash enemies (Ring also increases cover) and finish off with axe.

You would not have been able to revive your main character as you had taken the evil contract.

Reformist. The helmet you almost crafted was good. What you looked at was only a bonus due to you having 10 crafting. The value was 65 + 55 for the helm and aventail, but the item you were going to make was 140 value, plus your 20 bonus. So yeah, it was good my friend.

If you want to try a low Virtue charakter again, do some heists in the Travel section, good Stuff and a lot of lost Virtue.

I don't think I'll be ready to import older characters by Friday. I can preview a mock up of export by then, and maybe make a full build for people having trouble with applying several patches. I am excited about export but everything is moving slowly and I find many little things to fix, so at this pace no way I can do both sides by Friday for a general build. I do have a lot happening even in the export, which might be interesting to show. Export is simpler than import though. I can look at the steal cattle to give a better steal cattle amount by rolling two dice and adding instead of a single larger dice roll. There were some necromancer focused fixes and tweaks added a few days ago, so that is something.

visit the other 3 evil towns to get you other companions, i suggest to start building some of them as healer or mages as fast as possible...

cash is always a problem in this game since the market is always poor, tournaments can help but it gets boring after a bit. usually giving away fiefs and keeping villages helps ( must have a lord with a nearby villages so it will avoid being looted.

You do need armor (even if it’s light) though, crossbow bolts will absolutely murder you, unless you also plan to max out vitality. P.D. A two handed axe is also better than a long sword because it can break shields easier and can also break armor

I like to role play that my character has return by death ability and remember past experience.😅

people aren't crafting armor for money, they're crafting the mid- to high-end medicine items and poisons, which with a high skill proc for double almost every single time you craft them - we're talking crafting skills of 20-30

I think there isn't a limit on horses. You can exceed 6 without issue. . Next week I should have the tools ready to resurrect Arcane Deathbloom, if you wish. I just yesterday got the export layer writing to log with each of the values I need to export, it may not sound like much progress but if it can write to log it can write to a named disk file with WSE loaded. Friday is iffy but next week is do-able. I'll test on myself first; I have 7 of 9 test chars in need. I managed to come up with a better/faster scheme to store mid and high tier troops at the export, which will help your restarted char at the import side of things receive battle ready troops. Import has many aspects to consider, so is a little harder than export.

You could buy some salt in the desert and sell it to bloody cliff. Especially if you can still enter the undead towns, they sell for less there. Barriye sells salt too. Orc shamans are best liberated from captivity. Find some outlaws that have won battles against a caravan and they may have the high tier troops as captives. Specialists for orcs are Ogres; boost your faction standing with Orc troops to have access. Juice manages to never go rotten, so keep one. I usually have several types of food/drink, the different kinds stack morale buffs. Your troops need the vitamins, whatever those are. Ask a shaman?

Loving the daily HWR videos! Some more tips would be to take more advantage of the balanced stance especially when you start facing multiple enemies so that you are not leaving yourself fully open to attacks. Also using respite more often when you have the enemies fatigued can help you stay fresh and always be ready for the next waves of enemies, plus you can always scavenge then :)

Barthlomew's gambling quest can randomly lose you money as well as doubling it. If he loses he'll return a random amount to you but less than what you gave him. You don't have to take the sergeant's bag at all. It's provided so you'll have enough room for all the canteens if you have other things taking up your inventory. The craftable bag is larger than the bag he offers you. It often takes several hits to destroy shields until you get the higher tier weapons much later in the game. You can do it faster earlier in the game with axe polearms but those require a lot of stamina and strength to use as well as giving up a shield. You have to loot bodies after each fight to retrieve crossbow bolts. You'll also need to reapply poison to whatever bolts are used, if you're using poison. There's a brigand trinket that offers a 10% chance of applying the poison effect on every melee attack that may or may not be available. I picked mine up in an encounter while scavenging.

Hello reformist and fans, I have recently started watching this channel based on the warsword conquest new update videos and I was interested in playing the new update when I saw the marks of chaos interactions and boons during the chaos campaign. I seem to be unable to trigger the town event that allows me to challenge for a mark of chaos and I don't know why. I am playing with the newest updated version of warsword conquest (patch included) thanks to the description link in said videos yet I can't seem to get the town event to work, any tips from reformist or the community would be much appreciated. It's good to experiment with crossbows and see how they work but crossbows are primarily boss killers. Most bosses do not use shields and have inflated stats (like the Young Knight). Crossbows allow you to bypass most of their stats. There is an achievement for defeating Ruffin in Cambrai, crossbows are the way to get it. There is also a legacy crossbow that fire multiple bolts you can unlock in Nantes.

I'm already excited for the next part!
